Ingredients
Life
4-6 Lemons or 1 cup of lemon juice
1 cup of sugar
4 to 5 cups of water
For the Cherry or Peach syrups
1 cup of cherries, or peaches
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
Grab the lemons life gave ya, and squeeze them until you have a cup of lemon juice.
Add the 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of lemon juice to 4 cups of water. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
Taste, and if needed, add the remaining 1 cup of water as needed. This is preference here. If you like it tart like myself, you will not need the extra water.
Whippin’ it up!
Lemonade
Cherry/Peach Syrup
In a pot, add 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water and 1 cup of fruit and turn heat to medium
Stir the pot occasionally for 5-7 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved.
Once the sugar is dissolved, mash the the fruit in the syrup and let the mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Take the pot off the stove and allow the syrup to cool a few minutes and then strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to not get any chunks of fruit in the syrup
Add to the lemonade as a boost of flavor and some added sweetness!
