Lemonade

Ingredients

  • Life

  • 4-6 Lemons or 1 cup of lemon juice

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 4 to 5 cups of water

    For the Cherry or Peach syrups

  • 1 cup of cherries, or peaches

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 cup of water

  1. Grab the lemons life gave ya, and squeeze them until you have a cup of lemon juice.

  2. Add the 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of lemon juice to 4 cups of water. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved.

  3. Taste, and if needed, add the remaining 1 cup of water as needed. This is preference here. If you like it tart like myself, you will not need the extra water.

Lemonade

Cherry/Peach Syrup

  1. In a pot, add 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water and 1 cup of fruit and turn heat to medium

  2. Stir the pot occasionally for 5-7 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved.

  3. Once the sugar is dissolved, mash the the fruit in the syrup and let the mixture simmer for 5-10 minutes.

  4. Take the pot off the stove and allow the syrup to cool a few minutes and then strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to not get any chunks of fruit in the syrup

  5. Add to the lemonade as a boost of flavor and some added sweetness!
